Any questions?

Here are answers to the most common questions about the Foundation and donations.

Can’t find your answer? Write to us at info@fundacionimpulso.es.

What is Fundación Impulso y Cooperación?

The Foundation was created to strengthen the work of Impulso Ciudadano and broaden its impact. It promotes good governance, the defence of constitutional values and institutional transparency through conferences, studies and public campaigns.

How much tax relief do I get on my donation?

Donations to the Foundation are deductible from Spanish personal income tax (IRPF): 80% of the first €250 and 40% of the rest (or 45% if you keep donating for three years).

Example 1: if you donate €180, the tax office refunds €144. Your real contribution is only €36 a year.

Example 2: if you donate €450, the tax office refunds €280. Your real contribution is €170 a year.

What is the deadline to claim tax relief this year?

If you donate before 31 December, you can include it in that year’s income tax return (filed by June of the following year).

How can I pay?

You can donate by card, choosing the amount and frequency (monthly, quarterly or yearly). You can also make one-off donations whenever you like, or a bank transfer.

Will I receive a certificate?

Fundación Impulso y Cooperación will send you a certificate of your donations. It will also send the tax office the information needed for your deduction to appear automatically in your draft tax return.
